The Sr. Manager, Channel and Product Marketing defines objectives and scope and leads North American product projects with R&D, external development partners and sales and marketing managers, for the dealer, rural & suburban consumer, and customer market. This role identifies innovation opportunities that address consumer needs by connecting the Kinetico brand to market driven technology and solutions and product value propositions, and commercializes products based on market, technology, competitive and consumer insights. The position delivers a strong product roadmap including a connected product technology vision and manages both product marketing and training support functions. Key Areas of
Responsibilities:
Leads a 3 year North American product plan and IoT horizon vision using consumer insights, technical and product trend knowledge. Collaborates and aligns with the Dealer Sales Director, R&D and Engineering team in the creation of the 3 year dealer rural & suburban innovation product plan and presents to key stakeholders and leadership across the company Manages team of product and technical training support roles including incoming product project prioritization and IoT market training strategy and structure. Leads the definition of all product proposals and the business case development including demand projections, pricing, and desired product specifications. Leads the definition of all product propositions for the dealer rural & suburban consumer segment supported by consumer insights and, where relevant, situation analysis including market dynamics and competitive landscape. Collaborates with Research Manager and broader Kinetico centers of excellence to identify, scope and prioritize both dealer and consumer research related to new product and IoT opportunities. Identifies consumer insights through dealer and available consumer research and presents those insights to NA leadership. Identifies new organizational capability building and program development and leads plan to address gaps. Collaborates with the marketing team on the design of holistic pull through product marketing launches and commercialization that creates incremental growth. Leads the commercialization execution and dealer adoption including literature, communication, promotions, events and dealer technical training. Measures and evaluates innovation product and program launch and commercialization effectiveness and makes recommendations to optimize results. Job Knowledge, Skills, and
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing. Strong business development and marketing mindset. 8 to 10 years' experience in product marketing with an emphasis on IoT type business models within a traditional consumer goods company. Experience with Stage-Gate or other product development process. Background in technology / consumer goods. Experience in marketing highly technical products. Skilled in creation of (marketing) change programs, tools and process design. Excellent collaboration and negotiation skills in order to manage multiple stakeholders. Leadership skills and collaborative work style and entrepreneurial spirit. Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills. Able to prepare and present plans, proposals and business cases to a variety of audiences. Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Brand Marketing & ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
